The Sunset Playhouse School for The Arts also produces a winning Children's Theatre series called bug in a rug theatre, an interactive theatre experience for the whole family targeted for children ages 2-8, (younger siblings are welcome, too). bug in a rug theatre is a casual and fun introduction to the performing arts where laughter and audience participation are strongly encouraged. Families are welcome to come dressed in pajamas, bring their blankets, pillows and stuffed animals and snuggle in for great times at all of our performances.
